Butch Francis Eldred

Butch Francis Eldred, of Akron, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 9, 2021. He was born in Buffalo, New York on June 27, 1953 to the late Francis H. and Lucille (Redman) Eldred.

Butch was a 1971 graduate of Clarence High School. He loved cutting wood and worked most of his life as a saw operator. He and Lorene Spears were married on August 30,1975 and had two children together. Butch was a member of the Pembroke Community Church and an exempt member of the Newstead Fire Company. He was a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan and loved bass fishing and deer hunting whenever he had the time. He especially enjoyed helping people.

Loving husband of Lorene (Spears) Eldred; cherished father of Charles Eldred and Jon (late Joanne) Eldred; beloved brother of Linda (Brian) Wight, Rita Reckart and Mike (Linda) Eldred. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, NY. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 15 at 11 AM. at the First Baptist Church of Akron, 120 Main Sreet, Akron. Charitable contributions may be made in Butch's memory to First Baptist Church of Akron.
