Bonnita (Schultz) Rice, lost her battle with cancer at the age of 83, on July 11, 2020. She was born in Akron, New York on October 9, 1936 to the late Henry and Gladys (McGinley) Schultz.
Bonnita was a 1955 graduate of Akron Central High School. She married her husband Darwin in September of 1955. Bonnita worked at Perry’s Ice Cream for many years as a freezer operator. She and Darwin loved taking long walks together.
Survived by husband, Darwin Rice, married for 64 years; sister, Dorothy Lee Schultz; seven children, Mark Rice, Brenda Szymczak, Cindy Huebert, Laura Roggen, Dale Rice, Scott Rice, Dorothylee Akin. Bonnita is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be no public services.
