Bonnie Sue (Sargent) Pafk, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Born on July 24, 1941 in Swords Creek, VA, she was the daughter of Banna (Hunt) Weber and Laverne Weber.
Bonnie married her loving husband, Marvin Pafk 53 years ago on December 17th. Together they raised 5 beautiful children, Thomas Pafk, Susan (Cameron) Criswell, Joyce (Dennis) Garvey, Cynthia (Robert) Potts and Maribeth (Shawn) Sheedy. She was the most loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a very special great grandmother to 15 lovely little ones.
Bonnie loved her family very deeply. She had many cherished friends as well. She loved to sew and turned that into her business in Akron for many years. She also retired from the Village of Akron as a Court Clerk. Bonnie was an avid bowler, enjoyed socializing at both Akron Newstead Senior Center, as well as Amherst Senior Center. Gambling was a fun hobby she shared with her husband, Marvin. She also would meet with her dear friends, Norma, Janet, and Kathy for a day full of euchre and food. She was also a lifetime member of St. Michaels Church and held her faith proudly. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, as well as her daughter Joyce.
Calling hours will be held at St. Michael's Lutheran Church on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, funeral immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bonnie’s memory to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church.
