Beverly Opal Walsh, aged 95, of Clarence, NY, passed away peacefully February 28, 2025. Born November 4, 1929, in Binghamton, NY, Beverly lived a full and joyful life, marked by her unwavering faith, dedication to her family and a playful sense of humor that endeared her to all who knew her.
Beverly’s faith was influenced by her Grandmother Hawk’s and continued throughout her life as a member and ordained minister in the Church the Nazarene and the Free Methodist Church. Known as “Rev Bev” she led numerous women’s Bible Studies and took great joy in leading people to Jesus.
Beverly’s greatest accomplishment was her devotion to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was dedicated to her siblings and cherished her role as “Aunt Opal” to many nieces and nephews.
Beverly provided for her family by tirelessly working alongside her husband, James, at the family-owned Endicott Diner where she was known for her pastries and pies.
Beverly was a witty and funny woman who never failed to bring laughter to any gathering. She had an adventurous side, proven by her 5K runs, playing and coaching softball and later traveling with her husband Tom.
Beverly is survived by her children Pamela (Rick) Rouse, Cynthia (Allan) Goldner, Webb Corbin, David (Karen) Corbin, Wanda Corbin, James (Susie) Corbin, Ruth (Rick) Scott, Rebekah (Chad) Crofford, and stepchildren Denise (Al) Schimanski and James Dennis (Linda) Corbin. She was a cherished grandmother to 31 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, E. Miller and Beatrice Webb, her husbands, James Corbin and Thomas Walsh, a granddaughter, Cynthia Schimanski, and her siblings Chester, Douglas, Donald, Catherine, Harold, Edwin, and David.
