Barbara J. (Bradt) Long

Barbara J. Long, passed away on February 18, 2026. A woman of great dedication, Barbara was known for her love of family and her commitment to community service. She was a past Board Chair of Harris Hill UMC, past president of Clarence Book Review Club for 17 years, a member of Clarence “Clubhouse” Restoration Committee, past president of Clarence Band Boosters, past president of the Bradt Family Society, and Benefits Coordinator for the United Methodist Church. Barbara enjoyed trips to their property in Pennsylvania and spending time with her family.

She was the beloved wife of Donald; dear mother of late Michael (Paula) Long, Suzanne (Charles) Vesper, and Brian (Lori) Long; loving grandmother of Joseph (Jaclyn) Long, Johnathan (Chystal) Long, Charles Vesper, Alexandra Vesper, and Abigail Long; great-grandmother of Levi, Jacob, Lillian, and Michael; daughter of the late Harold and Thelma Bradt; sister of the late Gloria (Ken) Tyler, Katherine (Dale) Andrews, late Carl (Joette) Bradt; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22nd from 2-4 PM at the ROSS FUNERAL HOME OF AKRON, LLC, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, where a service will follow at 4 PM.
