Barbara Ford, born December 1, 1953 to the late Bernard and Marjorie (Wall) Reeb. She was a pillar of strength and love who gave without hesitation. She passed away on May 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, devotion, and service.
Barbara was an active member of her community, contributing to the Akron Newstead Senior Center and St. Teresa of Avila Church in Akron. She also served on the Parish Council of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church for over two decades, demonstrating her commitment to service and her deep faith. Her love for her community was only surpassed by her love for her family, which was at the core of everything she did.
She was the loving mother of Michael F. (Susan) Ford, Jr., Craig B. (Dawn Coppola) Ford, and a proud grandmother to Michael (Trey) Ford and Oaklie Ford. She is also survived by her dear siblings Marjorie (Henry) Balus, Linda (Jerry) Shaul, and Patricia (David) Shimo, along with several nieces and nephews.
