Anne Lauridsen

Anne Lauridsen, a loyal and dedicated matriarch, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. Born in Haverhill, MA, on April 21, 1928, Anne spent the majority of her life in Akron, NY, where she built a life filled with love, duty, and service.

Anne was a pillar of her community, serving as a Rural Mail Carrier for the Akron USPS until her retirement. Her hard work and dedication were also demonstrated through her foundational role in the Newstead Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary, a position she held with great pride. When not serving her community, Anne found solace in the comfort of her own home, welcoming everyone with a warm heart and a friendly smile. She loved to garden and took great pride in maintaining her lawn, a testament to her industrious spirit and love for nature.

Anne's legacy lives on through her children J. Mark (Jan) Lauridsen, Lester "Ret" (late Lana) Lauridsen, Thomas (Robin Rovito) Lauridsen, Daniel (Gina) Lauridsen, Anne Golpl, Mary (John) Neumann, Ronda Lauridsen; her 14 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lester M. Lauridsen, and her siblings, Benjamin Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Mary Wilson, and Sheila Quick.
