It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of a beloved son and brother, Adam Lauricella, who left us on, August 7, 2025.
Adam brought light and warmth into the lives of those around him. He brightened every room he entered. As a son, he was devoted, kind-hearted, and a constant source of pride and comfort to his parents. As a brother, he was unwaveringly supportive, protective, and deeply cherished—a true friend and role model. His presence was marked not just by love, but by laughter, quiet strength, and a gentle spirit.
Adam’s smile lit up every room he walked into. He was constantly joking with everyone he came in contact with, often at his own expense.
Adam found great joy in both watching and playing sports. He cherished time spent with his family and beloved dogs, and took simple pleasure in a well-prepared dry-aged ribeye steak, or pizza and wings —always accompanied by a cold Mountain Dew.
He is survived by his parents Richard and Karen Lauricella, brothers Erik (Emily) Lauricella and Austen Lauricella; his sister Ashley (Michael) Scarcello, and his grandmother, Nonnie (Mary) Delaney. He also leaves behind two loyal dogs, Cassius and Daisy; as well as many cherished friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Delaney and Francis Lauricella; his grandmother Joan Lauricella and his cousin, Stefan Arlington.
Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the bonds he nurtured will remain in our hearts forever. He leaves behind a family who will always carry his memory with them-forever grateful for the gift of his life.
Family and friends are invited to attend a wake in Adam’s honor on August 15, 2025 at Ross Funeral Home of Akron from 3:00pm- 8:00pm.
