Aaron Jacobs, affectionately known as Junior, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025. Born to the late Aaron F. Jacobs, Sr. and Rietta Sundown, Aaron was a proud member of the Snipe Clan of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation.
Throughout his life, he was an active participant in the community and his passions extended to race car driving at Batavia and at Ransomville Speedway, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and engaging in Native American dancing and singing in his younger years. His enduring motto, "family is everything," encapsulated his life philosophy and his love and commitment to his loved ones. Aaron worked as a truck driver for Adessa for many years. His true joy came from spending time with his beloved family and creating lasting memories with them.
Aaron leaves behind his beloved wife Lori Reuben, his cherished children Jamie (Coreen) Jacobs, Holly Jacobs, Mick (Shelby) Jacobs, Theresa (Justin) Jacobs, and Shayna Printup (Long House daughter). He was also a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Aaron is survived by his siblings Lamar "Mossy" (Joelle) Jones, Lindsy "Boo" Jacobs, Charles Jr. "Toady" (Lelaya) Doxtator, Lesliea "Lolly" Jacobs, Penelope "Penny" (Marlon) Parker, and Ardana Jones. He is also survived by many cousins. He was predeceased by his life partner, Wendy Borton.
A Long House service was held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 2 PM. Arrangements were made by Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC. We encourage you to share your memories of Aaron and upload photos to his memorial page, so we can all remember the joy and love he brought to our lives.
