Yvonne Poole

Yvonne Poole of Akron went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2019. She was born January 18, 1959 in Batavia, New York to Donald and the late Myrna (Raduns) Yoder.
 
She was a 1977 graduate of Akron Central High School. After graduating, she continued her education and earned a degree in nursing. Nursing was perfect for Yvonne as she loved working with people and had a gift for serving others. She especially enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She also loved playing the piano and gardening when she was able.
 
A son, Jonathan (Katie) Poole and a sister, Cheryl (Robert) Smith survive Yvonne. She is also survived by a niece and nephew, Joann Hines, Michael (Holly) Smith and great niece and nephew, Anna Bella and Jamison..
 
A Funeral Service will take place at the Clarence Center- Akron Mennonite Church on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11 a.m.
