Walter served the U.S. Army in both World War II and the Korean War. He retired as a foreman after working 40 years for Niagara Mohawk Power Co.  Walt was a longtime member of St. Teresa's Parish in Akron, NY; where he was an usher for 50 years and actively involved with Bingo as well as many other activities.
