Robert Carl Drier

Robert Carl Drier 46, suddenly on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He was born on December 9, 1971 in Buffalo to Jeanne (Gould) and the late David Drier.

Robert was a 1990 graduate of Akron High School and worked in Distribution for Perry's Ice Cream. Rob was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Akron where he served as a trustee. He was a HUGE Penn State fan and a New York State Official. Being a referee was his passion. He officiated numerous football, baseball, softball, and basketball games throughout New York State.

Rob is survived by his wife of 7 years Jeanne; two young children, David  and  Megan Drier; a  brother, Rich (Anita) Drier. His mother-in-law, Eileen Griffin and many nieces and nephews also survive him.  

Friends and relatives may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 and from 1 - 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, 12752 Lewis Rd. with a Funeral Service to follow promptly at 2:00p.m. To share memories and condolences with Robert's family, please visit rossakron.com.
