Norman "Norm" Keller Obituary

Norman "Norm" Samuel Keller passed away unexpectedly on his homestead July 15, 2019. He was born on November 20, 1943 to the late Norman and Myrtle (Downey) Keller; loving stepson of the late Charles Keller.

Norm attended Clarence schools and worked for the New York State Department of Transportation for 10 years. At the time, he was the youngest state driver ever hired. He then went on to work for Gypsum Haulage where he earned a certificate for safe driving over 1,000,000 miles. He retired from PVC Chemical in Buffalo. His lifelong passion was farming. Norm was not a man to sit still until his work for the day was finished and more. He loved to watch Old Western movies, Scooby Doo, The Three Stooges and of course The Local Weather. Norm was a great cook, avid hunter, and also loved playing cards and grocery shopping to visit with the ladies. He especially loved annual family gatherings and always made sure no one walked away hungry.

Beloved father of Tamie Keller, Robin (Herbert) Martin, and Wendy Herring; cherished grandfather of Michelle Higgins, David Olson, Jessica (Angel) Blakely, Jaysen (Claudia Tinta) Bias; proud great-grandfather of Alyea Boyce. Norm is also survived by two nephews, Martin (Brenda) Smith II, and David Smith as well as two great nephews and one great niece. Norm is predeceased by a newborn daughter, Zina Beth Keller; two infant brothers, Niles and David Keller, and a sister, Susan Keller Smith.
