Mary Lou Bummer

Mary Lou Bummer, of Akron passed away peacefully, on August 16, 2018.
 
Beloved wife of the late Roy Bummer for over 50 years. She was a member of the Akron Newstead Senior Center and the Corfu Seniors Group as well as St. Teresa's Church. When she was able, Mary Lou enjoyed bowling and gambling.

Her children, Judy (Doug) Sescil, Richard (Kim) Bummer, and Wendy Bummer survive her. Mary Lou is also survived by a brother, Peter (Jan) Abdo; six grandchildren, Jessica, Richard, Alexander, Ian, Thomas, Jennifer; three great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, August 25, at 10 am. (Please assemble at church). Memorial contributions may be made to Akron- Newstead Senior Centr or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
