Hazel Alexander

Hazel Alexander passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019. She was born on May 6, 1933 to the late Melvin and Viva (Buckmann) Falker.

Hazel was an avid gardener and lover of all animals, especially dogs. Her white curls and deep laugh were known wherever she went. We’ll drink a cup of coffee for you today Hazel, a woman who loved without limits.

Hazel is survived by her loving family: David (Melissa) Alexander, Daniel Alexander, Joseph (Sarah) Alexander, Randy (Kathleen) Alexander, Lisa (Patrick) Lederhouse; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Melvin (Pam) Falker and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Falker. Hazel is predeceased by her husband Roger Alexander; a brother, Raymond Falker and three sisters, Isabella Falker, Helen Rosenberg, and Irene Keller.

Friends and relatives may call on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY 14001 where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 Am on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Charitable donations may be made in Hazel’s name to the S.P.C.A.
