Gerald William Lindke

Gerald William Lindke went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2019. He was born in Middleport, NY on July 28, 1941 to the late Burt and Evelyn (Sahms) Lindke.

Gerry lived most of his life in the Western New York area. He and his wife, Jean (Lombard) were married on October 27, 1962 and they raised five children together while he worked as a truck driver for R.L.Gaude Heating and Oil Co. Gerry loved the Lord and attended Legacy Bible Study at the Chapel CrossPoint. He spent most of his time reading and listening to The Bible and always cherished the time he spent with his family.

Gerry is survived by his loving family: his wife of 57 years, Jean Lindke; his children, Samuel (Jacqueline) Lindke, Barbara (Douglas) Foust, Timothy (Melissa) Lindke, late Kristie (Robert) Jones, Benjamin (Molly) Lindke; fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a sister, Betty (Robert) Williams. Gerry is predeceased by his daughter, Kristie and his sister and brother in law, Jean (Willard) Henry. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM with a Memorial Service starting promptly at 6:30 at The Chapel  CrossPoint, 500 CrossPoint Pkwy, Getzville, NY 14068.
