Carol Schubel

Carol Schubel passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Orchard Manor in Medina. She was born in Batavia, NY on October 29, 1937 to the late Elmer and Vera (Garrison) Wagner.

Carol was a graduate of Oakfield High School. She met and married the late Carl J Schubel April 27, 1957. Married 55 years. Carol loved gardening, baking, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Carol is survived by her daughter Laura (Todd) Peters; her grandchildren Lindsay, Sara and Ryan; 7 brothers and sisters: Elmer (late Elizabeth) Wagner Jr., Betty (late Lawrence) Pafk, Frances (late Stanley) Benben, Richard (Joanne) Wagner, Esther (Richard) Brown, late Lois (Robert ) Ayler, Nancy (late Norman) Forbes; several nieces and nephews and she adored her "grand-dog" Hobie.

Friends and relatives are invited to visitation on Wednesday, August 23 from 4 to 7 at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron LLC. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 6379 Wolcottsville Rd. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at  11 a.m.  Memorials may be made in Carol’s memory to St. Michael's Lutheran Church.
