I worked with Adolph when I was right out of high school at Whiting Roll up Door. He showed me the ropes and we shared tea every day together. Then in later years we worked together at the Octagon House. Loved this man and will always have nothing but fond memories of him.

Growing up in Akron didn't have alot of things to do for a young man. I always had a fascination with the F.D. Adolph always had great advice for us young guys. After I left to join the Navy any time I would come to vist Adolph and I would have a conversation about how I was doing in the service. Fair winds and following seas Ship Mate.

My sincere condolences to each of you. Having shared so much of my life with Adolph and family on East Avenue, I always considered myself fortunate to have him as a second father, and Michael, Patti, and Mary, siblings. My heart is heavy as I am unable to be with you for services or mass. I feel blessed to have recently spent an evening with Your dad laughing, telling stories, and remembering. I will hold that memory dear. My love and prayers are with you. Martha
