Suzanne M. Fry, a longtime resident of Akron, NY, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024. She was born on December 17, 1941, in Buffalo, NY to the late Robert and Ethel (Robinson) Titterington. Widowed from her beloved husband, Gerald Fry, Suzanne was a beacon of laughter and warmth, her humor and kindness radiating to those around her. Her love for family was unparalleled, enriching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Suzanne spent her career in the healthcare sector, dedicating her services in housekeeping at Lockport Hospital in Lockport, NY, from where she retired. Her dedication and hard work had a profound impact on her colleagues and the countless patients she indirectly cared for. Yet, it was outside of her professional life where Suzanne's true passions lay. Known for her love of baking, she often filled her home with the tantalizing aroma of fresh pies and cookies. She found solitude in her garden, cultivating an oasis of tranquility and beauty. A lover of cats, she often provided a warm lap and tender scratches for her furry companions.
Loving mother of Bruce Kidney, the late Cathleen Hall, Steven Kidney, and the late Gregory (Christene) Kidney; beloved grandmother of Colton (Danielle) Schmidt, Cory Kidney, Daniel Kidney, Jack Kidney, and Cheyanne Hall; proud great grandmother of Freyja, Christoph, and Sadie. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. She is predeceased by her husband, Gerald Fry, two children, Cathleen Hall and Gregory Kidney and a brother, Robert Titterington.
