Walter J. Kloss

Walter J. Kloss, 86, passed away on April 11, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Buffalo, NY on May 11, 1930 to the late Walter and Alma (Zahnke) Kloss.

Walt graduated from Boy's Vocational High School in 1950 and married Ruth Becker on April 3, 1954. He was a Korean War veteran and a retired Buffalo police officer. He loved camping and traveling everywhere from here to Arizona. He will be remembered as a great husband and father.

Beloved husband of Ruth (Becker) Kloss for 63 years; cherished father of Mark (Vicky) Kloss and Cindy Kloss. Walt is also survived by his grand pug, Sally Mae as well as many friends and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers, Warren and Robert (Ruth) Kloss and a sister, Audrey (Frank) Miller.

Friends and relatives may call at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. A  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 67 Litchfield Ave., Depew, NY 14043.
