Michael N. Schiffmacher

Michael N. Schiffmacher, 76, of Akron, on July 17, 2017 surrounded by family after a long illness. He was born in Buffalo, NY on January 20, 1941 to the late Nicholas and Dorothy Schiffmacher.

Michael served our country in the Air Force. He worked as an electrician for Calspan Corporation in Cheektowaga until he retired in 2009.

Beloved husband of Judith (Wegrzyn) Schiffmacher for 48 years; dear brother of Barbara (Jim) Gregor; dearest uncle to River White; devoted companion of Bearin. Mike is predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Schiffmacher.

Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Mike's memory to Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
