Kathleen Glor

Kathleen Glor of Attica, passed away suddenly on June 13, 2017. She was born on April 2,1950 in Buffalo, NY to the late Hubert and Thelma (Smith) King.
 
Kathleen was a 1968 graduate of Attica High School where she also worked as a cleaner and teacher's aide for over 30 years and most recently worked as a bus monitor for McDonald's Bus Service. She and her husband Darwin Glor were married on August 17, 1974 and they raised three daughters together. Family life and working at school kept her busy, but she would always find time to relax by knitting and crocheting.
 
Besides her husband of 42 years, Kathleen is survived by three daughters; Jody (Daric) Brege of Akron, NY, Jenifer Glor of San Diego, CA., Jamie (Mike) Hart of Alden, NY; three grandchildren, Madison Brege, Marissa Brege, Natalie Hart; a brother, Joseph King and several nieces and nephews.
 
A  Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, June 25, at 1:00 pm at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Newstead. Family will receive those wishing to pay their respects prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm and a light reception will be held immediately following the service. The family would appreciate donations in Kathleen's memory to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4809 S. Newstead Rd., Akron, NY 14001 or The Akron Girl Scouts, 12 Crescent Dr., Akron, NY 14001.
