Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. We are very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Johnny personally, but watched him wrestle many times. He was a hell of a competitor, and showed great character and sportsmanship, He will be missed by the Tonawanda Wrestling community, but never forgotten. Please accept our deepest sympathies

From an old Akron wrestler - My deepest sympathy to all of Johnny's family and friends. Nothing can replace a son and a brother, and no pain can be so difficult to bear. But please know that there are so many people who are sharing it with you - yes, even those of us that never had the privilege of knowing Johnny or his family. We do grieve with you, and our thoughts are with you.

Our hearts are breaking for you. Everyone in the N-O Wrestling community knew and respected Johnnie. He was one of those wrestlers that everyone looked up to, but didn't want to have to actually wrestle against. My son, Quinn, was a Freshman last year and unexpectedly got to wrestle Johnnie at their dual meet at Wilson. Quinn lost, but didn't feel bad about his performance because, as he simply stated, "It was Fiebelkorn." Your son was a phenomenal athlete - he will not be forgotten.
