Jessica Anne Baehr

Jessica Anne Baehr, of Akron passed away peacefully, on August 4, 2017. Born April 4, 1976 in Lockport, New York to David Gominiak and Gloria (Reitmeier) Chassar.

Jessica graduated from Brockport High School in 1994 and was a park manager for Leisurewood in Akron. She married Gary Baehr on June 7, 2003 and they raised three sons together.  Jessica loved the outdoors, especially, hiking, fishing, and camping. She enjoyed knitting with the Knit-wits and loved listening to 80's music and attending concerts. But, the one thing she cherished most was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Gary A. Baehr; three sons, Trevor DiGesare, Joseph Baehr, and Gary M. Baehr; and her step-parents, Norene Pask and James Chassar. Also survived by grandmother, Delores Reitmeier; a brother, Christopher (Danna) Gominiak; a step-brother, Tim Pask; two nieces, Grace and Ellie Gominiak; inlaws, Mary Mecca, Gary (Rosemary) Baehr, and Michael Baehr.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue Akron. A Funeral Service will take place at the Akron First United Methodist Church, 7 Church Street on Friday, at 11 am. (Please assemble at church).
