Jeanne M. Craig, of Akron, NY; January 21, 2018. She was born in Rochester, NY on June 4, 1930 to the late Stuart and Edna (Williams) Mason.
Jeanne graduated from Churchville High School in 1948. She married her late husband, George Craig on March 17, 1951. She was a volunteer for both Meals on Wheels, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, and the Akron Library for many years. Jeanne was always busy with something; knitting, puzzles, gardening, or traveling somewhere. She was a veracious reader, and enjoyed reading mysteries and crime stories. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family.
She is survived by her four loving children: Peter (Christine) Craig, Todd (Amy) Craig, Paula (John) Garrison, and Wendy (Doug) Warner. Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive her. She was predeceased by a sister, Lois Erbelding.
Friends and relatives may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron.
