Hugh Stratton

Hugh Stratton, 61 of Akron passed away on August 23, 2016 after a short illness. He was born August 12, 1955 in Buffalo, NY to Floyd and Minnie (McIvor) Stratton.

Hugh met his wife Rita when she was only 14 years old. They married in 1981 and had four children together. He worked as an electrician for Brady Electric in North Tonawanda. Hugh loved spending time with family and friends whenever he wasn't working.

He is survived by his wife, Rita (Burns) Stratton; his sons, Daniel (Ericka) Stratton of Corfu, and Joseph Stratton of Akron; a daughter, Rita (Stephen) Baxter of Depew, and grandson, Maddox. His brother James (Marsha) Stratton of FL and sister, Mary (late John) Liska of Cheektowaga also survive him. Hugh's son, Christopher M. Stratton predeceased him in July 2015.

Funeral Services will be private.
